Men's Volleyball Drops Match to No. 9 NYU

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's volleyball team fell to No. 9 NYU Tuesday night in three sets (22-25, 13-25, 21-25).
 
FOR THE RECORD:
  • The Knights fall to 9-8 on the year.
  • NYU advances to 7-4 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • In a closely contested first set, the Knights and Violets went back and forth, seeing 11 ties, up until NYU would move out in front at the end of the set, 25-22.
  • NYU kept the momentum into the second set to finish, 25-13.
  • The third set started with the Violets taking a 9-4 lead before the Knights would start to rally back. The Scarlet and Grey would pull within two points on multiple occasions but couldn't solidify the comeback.

  • Arcadia is back in action on Thursday when it heads to Misericordia for a conference matchup. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
