MADISON, N.J. – Sophomore
Clo Muscara notched five points Sunday afternoon as the Arcadia men's lacrosse team took down FDU – Florham, 11-8. The Freehold, N.J. native scored four goals, while registering one assist as the team won its four-consecutive game.

- Arcadia advances to 4-1 on the year.
- FDU – Florham drops to 2-3.
COACH SAYS:
- "It was a great road win for the guys," said head men's lacrosse coach Nick Taylor. "I liked how we started, considering we haven't played a game in three weeks and then paced scoring throughout. I'm looking forward to opening conference play at home this Thursday."
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Scarlet and Grey owned the first quarter, registering a 5-1 lead at the end of the frame. Four of the five goals came unassisted, seeing Muscara score two, senior Nick Ferraro net one, and sophomore Austin Williams registering the other. Senior Steve McCrossin notched the fifth, coming on a dish from sophomore Tanner Pajakinas.
- The second stanza was quiet on the offensive front, seeing the teams each register one score apiece for a 6-2 Arcadia lead at the half. The Knights lone goal of the quarter came unassisted from Ferraro.
- After the Devils scored the first three goals of the third, Arcadia answered with three scores of its own to push the score to 9-5. Muscara buried a shot for his third on the day, before freshman JP Shaaber took a feed from Williams that found the back of the net. The final Knights score of the quarter came on an extra man opportunity when junior CJ Sherlock scored on an assist from Muscara.
- The final frame saw the home team try and make a comeback, however the Knights buckled down to take the game. After one score from the Devils, freshman Daniel Sledge registered his fifth goal on the season, seeing a dish from Pajakinas. FDU – Florham answered with three goals before Muscara drilled his fourth of the day.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Ferraro (two goals), Pajakinas (two assists), and Williams (one goal, one assist) all registered two points on the day.
- Junior Conor Cunningham won 12-of-18 faceoffs, picking up eight ground balls.
- In net, senior A.J. Beck picked up the win, making 14 saves.
GAME NOTES:
- Shaaber's goal is the first of his collegiate career.
