GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's lacrosse team downed Delaware Valley 12-8 in the Third Annual Battle for the Bucks-Mont Hammer Sunday afternoon. The Knights set the tone early with seven goals over the first 15 minutes of play, including three from sophomore
Austin Williams.

COACH SAYS:
"The guys did a good job handling the week. It's a lot to deal with rescheduling games," said head coach
Nick Taylor. "I think we came out and started quick today. Our rivalry with Del Val has turned into something special, and we are excited to keep the trophy at home."
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Knights netted three goals in a span of 43 seconds to set the tone early, as senior Nick Ferraro scored 59 seconds in, followed by Williams 13 seconds later and sophomore Clo Muscara 10 seconds after that.
- Freshman Brady Manion met twine for the first time in his career to give Arcadia a 4-1 lead with 5:47 to go in the first quarter, before Muscara and Williams combined for the frame's final three goals to put the Knights up 7-2 through 15 minutes.
- After taking a 7-4 lead to halftime, Muscara got Arcadia back on the scoreboard with 5:46 to go in the third quarter off a feed from freshman Kameron McKithen. Following late goals from Williams and sophomore Tanner Pajakinas the Knights had the Aggies doubled up at 10-5 heading to the fourth quarter.
- McKithen scored his first collegiate goal with 7:36 to go, two minutes before Ferraro netted his second of the day to put Arcadia in front 12-6.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Sophomore Josh Keitz tied a game-high with three assists.
- Sparked by a 9-1 advantage in the first quarter, the Knights won 18 of 24 faceoffs, junior Conor Cunningham took all faceoffs for Arcadia. Cunningham led all players with 12 ground balls.
- Arcadia was a perfect 19-19 on clear attempts, while picking up 38 ground balls compared the Aggies' 34.
- Senior A.J. Beck made 15 saves for Arcadia.
NOTES:
- The Knights are the first home team to win the Bucks-Mont Hammer.
- Arcadia walked away with a 9-8 win at Delaware Valley last season.
- Cunningham's 18 faceoff wins match a season-high.
