FREDERICK, Md. – The Arcadia women's tennis team picked up a MAC Commonwealth win Saturday, besting Hood, 6-3. The Knights picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, as well as first, third, fifth and sixth singles.
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Scarlet and Grey pulled its record to 4-4 on the year, with a 2-1 mark against conference opponents.
• The Blazers dropped to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

WINNERS:

• The first doubles pair of junior Zoe Foglia and freshman Tess Weber bested Michelle Shedd and Sophie Smith 8-4.
• The duo of sophomore Maeghan Myers and freshman Emily Cruz-Pineda topped Kara Conway and Jen Slick 8-4 at third doubles.
• Senior Amanda Shulski downed Shedd in the first singles flight 6-0, 6-3.
• Weber cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win over Smith at third singles.
• Cruz-Pineda picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win over Conway at No. 5 singles.
• Myers outlasted Slick at No. 6 singles 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.
