Nine Women’s Lacrosse Players Register Points as the Knights Fall to Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. – Nine different players registered a point Tuesday evening as the Arcadia women's lacrosse team fell to Cabrini on the road, 25-18. Paving the way offensively was sophomore Shannon Ryan with five points.
 
FOR THE RECORD:
  • Arcadia dips to 8-6 on the season as they finish non-conference play.
  • Cabrini moves to 9-5 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Knights fell behind early, however took a 6-1 run over the final 7:49 of the first half to close the gap, 15-9. Ryan netted three for the Scarlet and Grey, followed by two apiece from senior Nicole Hutson and sophomore Jess Kaye, and one each from sophomore Victoria Mollitor and freshman Michaela Ferlow.
  • Arcadia attempted a comeback in the second half, but the Cavaliers remained vigilant. The Knights scored nine in the frame, seeing a pair of goals apiece from Kaye, Mollitor and sophomore Julia Imbert. Huston, senior Marie Brockman, and sophomore Caroline Toner each added one.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
  • Ryan finished with five points, adding two assists to her tally.
  • Kaye finished the day with four goals.
  • Hutson and Mollitor each added a hat trick.
GAME NOTES:
  • Ryan is now tied for ninth all-time with 148 career points.
  • With her six draw controls, Brockman moves into 10th place in program history.
UP NEXT:
  • Arcadia returns home as it hosts Stevenson Saturday for the Lax-4-Life game. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
