Muscara Breaks Single Season Points Record, but Men’s Lacrosse Slips Against Stevenson

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – After a five-point performance Saturday evening, Arcadia men's lacrosse sophomore Clo Muscara broke the single season points record with 47, but the Knights fell to Stevenson, 21-10.
 
FOR THE RECORD:
  • Arcadia falls to 6-6 overall and 2-4 in the MAC Commonwealth.
  • Stevenson moves to 8-6, with a perfect 6-0 record in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The home team held the advantage after the first frame, 5-1. The lone Arcadia goal came from freshman Daniel Sledge.
  • Stevenson kept the presser on in the second quarter, leading 11-5. The Scarlet and Grey saw scores from junior CJ Sherlock, sophomores Ben Robbins and Austin Williams, and freshman Kameron McKithen.
  • The Mustangs were up after the third quarter, 18-7. The two Knight goals came from Muscara and freshman Brady Manion.
  • The Knights registered three goals in the final stanza but couldn't pull away with the win. Williams, classmate Tanner Pajakinas, and senior Nick Ferraro each netted a goal.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
  • Muscara finished with one goal and four assists, while corralling five ground balls.
  • Williams added two assists to his two goals scored.
UP NEXT:
  • Arcadia returns to Glenside for another conference matchup as they host Lebanon Valley on Wednesday. First faceoff is set for 7 p.m.
