GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Swarthmore in a rain shortened match 1-0 on Wednesday at Jean Lenox West Field and Delran Pavilion.
The Knights are now 5-2-2 on the season, while Swarthmore improves to 8-0-1.
Maddy Carens beat
Brianna Williams in the 16th minute, giving the Garnets the 1-0 lead. That goal would be enough, as the Knights could not find an equalizer on the night.
After a weather delay, the match was called in the 76th minute.
IN GOAL: Williams made six stops for the Knights, while Chantal Reyes made two saves for the Garnets.
BY THE NUMEBRS: Arcadia totaled six shots in the match, four in the first half and two in the second, with two on goal … The Knights generates two corners in the game, while the Garnets has six … the two shots on goal was the fewest in a game this season for the Knights.
