GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's tennis team fell 6-3 to Cabrini at Weiss Courts on Thursday.
The Knights fall to 0-2 on the season while Cabrini improves to 2-0.
Nicholas Simeone defeated Charles LeMantia in flight one, 6-3, 6-3.
Sal DiBenedetto topped Vince Paetow 6-4, 11-9 to give Arcadia its second singles point.
John Zinzer was narrowly edged in three sets, 6-3, 7-6, 7-4 by Nick Tiffey, in what was a close flight four.
In doubles, Simeone and DiBenedetto defeated LaMantia and Paetow, 8-4 in flight number one, giving the Knights their third point of the contest. Arcadia was unable to keep pace with the Cavaliers, ultimately falling in the match.
The Knights will be in action again on Sunday, Sept. 30 for a match at Drew University at 2 p.m.
