Singles Brackets
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's tennis team opened play at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Individual Championships Saturday hosted by King's College. The Knights produced several strong performances both in the singles and doubles ladders.
Drake Hanak and
Keith Rader advanced to Sunday's semifinals of the second doubles bracket with a pair of victories, first taking down FDU-Florham in a tiebreak before defeating Stevenson to advance with a chance to earn a spot in the championship match.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Nicholas Simeone and
Jonathan Noble were defeated by Wilkes in the opening round of the first doubles ladder, 8-4.
-Hanak and Rader took FDU-Florham to a tiebreak in second doubles, but prevailed to move on with an 8-7 (5) victory. The duo then defeated Stevenson, 8-5, to advance to Sunday's semifinals against Lebanon Valley.

Luke Thatcher and
David Sherbakov were taken down by Wilkes in third doubles, 8-2.

Francis Tamesis and
LJ Wilkinson fell to Messiah in their opening round matchup in the fourth doubles ladder, 8-2.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Simeone posted a dominant victory over Lycoming's Nate Redell 6-0, 6-1 to advance to the quarterfinals where he was defeated by Stevens' Marc Feliu 6-1, 6-1.
-Noble was equally impressive in the opening round of the second doubles ladder with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Eastern's Logan Spinney. Noble then fell in a third-set tiebreaker to Stevenson's Ray McDermott 0-6, 6-2 (10-4).
-Hanak began the third singles ladder in the quarterfinals, but was unable to advance to the semifinals after falling to Stevenson's Larry Johnson III 6-3, 7-6 (2).
-Rader posted a third-set, tiebreak victory in the first round of the fouth singles bracket 3-6, 6-2 (10-7), but was dropped by Stevenson's Lukas Sanidas 6-1, 6-0.
-Sherbakov defeated Misericordia's Dan Zieno 6-1, 6-1 to begin play at fifth singles, but was defeated by Lebanon Valley's Ben Hinkley in the quarterfinals 6-3, 6-0.
-Tamesis was taken down by Messiah's Ellis Martin 6-3, 6-3 in the sixth singles ladder.
-Thatcher was bested by Stevens' Eloi Pradier in straight sets in the seventh singles bracket.
