Foreman Nets Game-Winner to Defeat Albright

GLENSIDE, Pa. – Shade Foreman netted the game-winning goal in the 75th minute to lead the Arcadia University men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Albright College, Saturday afternoon.

Jake Varrato made one save to earn his sixth shutout of the season. The Knights defense put together another strong effort to limit the Lions' scoring opportunities.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alexander Kuchnicki had two quality scoring chances late in the first half. The junior midfielder ripped a shot from the right side of the box, but had the attempt denied on a defensive save from the Lions. Moments later, Kuchnicki had another chance, but fired a shot just wide.

- Foreman collected the game's lone tally in the 75th minute. Keegan Bower carried the ball to the left side of the box, made a move on his defender and played a through ball to the opposite post. A senior, Foreman received the pass in stride and buried the shot for his first goal of the season. The assist was Bower's team-leading third of the season.
