Jess Kaye and
Julia Imbert scored four goals apiece, but a second-half rally by Marymount lifted the visiting Saints to a 15-11 win over the Arcadia women's lacrosse team on Wednesday night at Jean Lenox West Field and Delran Pavilion.

The Knights (0-6) held an 8-5 lead at the break, due in part to six combined goals from Imbert and Kaye in the first 30 minutes, including Imbert's goal just before the horn ended the first half. Kaye scored the first two goals of the second half for AU, the last giving the Knights a 10-8 lead with 21:30 left to play.

The Saints managed to tie the game at 10-10 with 18:02 left to play, and took the lead with 14:12 remaining on Eliana Cassel's fourth goal of the game. Four more goals from MU pushed its lead to 15-10 with 35 seconds left, before Imbert scored with no time remaining for the final margin of 15-11.

The Knights raced out to a 5-2 lead in the first half as
Hannah McAllister, Imbert and Kaye opened the game with three goals in the first 3:49. Following a pair of Marymount tallies,
Nicole Kress and Imbert found the back of the cage for a three-goal cushion with 10:17 left in the stanza.

The two teams traded goals over the final 10 minutes, resulting in the 8-5 score at recess.

Shots were nearly even at 33-31 in favor of Marymount, and the Knights actually held a 29-27 edge in shots on goal. Arcadia dominated the draw circle, coming away with 17 draw controls to nine for the Saints.

Holly Reik made 18 saves in goal for Marymount, while
Veandra Selby came up with 12 stops for the Knights.

In addition to her four goals, Kaye added a game-high nine draw controls. Imbert chipped in an assist to finish with five points, and McAllister scored twice. Kress added five ground balls and three draw controls, and
Kirsten Pedicone caused three turnovers and scooped up four ground balls.

Kelly Campbell had five goals and an assist to lead the Saints. Bridgette Stacom added a goal, three assists, five ground balls, three caused turnovers, and two draw controls.

Arcadia is back on the field on Saturday at 4 p.m. when it plays host to Cabrini.
