GLENSIDE, Pa. -- A dominant performance across the board lifted Arcadia's men's tennis team to a 9-0 whitewashing of Lycoming on Saturday afternoon at Weiss Courts.

With the win, the Knights improved to 7-11 overall and 3-3 in league play, clinching the No. 4 seed in the upcoming MAC Commonwealth Championships. Arcadia dropped just two games total in doubles competition, and yielded more than one game in only two sets of singles action.

Nicholas Simeone and
Jaime Zeng Zhu won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, and
Ryan Stellato and
Alex Post did the same at No. 3. The tandem of
John Zinzer and
Drake Hanak did one better, posting an 8-0 win at No. 2 as the Knights took a 3-0 lead into singles.

Stellato continued AU's dominance in singles, posting a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3. Simeone (No. 1) and Zinzer (No. 4) each posted 6-0, 6-1 wins, and
Luke Thatcher picked up a 6-1, 6-0 decision at No. 6. Post won 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 5 spot, an Zeng Zhu faced the toughest test at No. 2, earning a 6-3, 6-4 victory.
