Women's Volleyball Defeats Albright in Straight Sets

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team overcame Albright College, 3-0, to stay unbeaten in the MAC Commonwealth, Tuesday night. The Knights won each set comfortably with double-digit victories in all three sets.

Lauren Enfield and Maddie Sehrt led Arcadia's attack with 11 and eight kills, respectively. Sehrt also had a stellar defensive performance with a season-high eight blocks, while Enfield blocked a season-high four shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights set the tone early with a dominating victory, 25-7, in the opening set. With the game knotted at four, Arcadia grabbed momentum with seven consecutive points. The squad finished the match just as strong with eight straight points to claim a quick victory.

- Albright came back firing with the first four points of the second set, however, Arcadia quickly recovered and knotted the game at six. Midway through the set, the Knights created separation with an 8-2 run to take a 23-14 lead and put the Lions away. 

- In the final set, Arcadia and Albright traded blows early to keep the game close. However, the Knights pulled off a 10-2 run midway through the set, which was too much for the Lions to overcome.
