GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University field hockey team fell to Wesley College, 2-1, in double-overtime, Wednesday night. After falling behind in the second half,

Ashton Evans made a season-high 10 saves for the Knights in over 70 minutes of action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia had their chances in the first half, but couldn't take the early lead. The Knights outshot the Wolverines 8-7 and held an 11-4 advantage in penalty corners during the opening half.Â
- Madison Cook opened the scoring for Wesley midway through the third quarter. Jessica Behornar connected with Cook, who positioned herself at the right post, for the one-timer to beat Evans low.Â
- With 3:30 remaining in regulation, Ferlow kept the Knights alive with a game-tying score. After drawing a Wesley penalty, Dougherty carried the ball to the right side of the box and connected with the stick of Ferlow at the opposite post. It was Ferlow's team-leading seventh point of the season, while Dougherty tied Ferlow for the team lead with her third assist.Â
- Kaila Hindt had the game-winner in the first minute of the second overtime. After Evans made a nice save to deny Hindt's first shot, Hindt collected her own rebound and beat the keeper high on her second chance opportunity.Â
