GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team batted back from a pair of first-half deficits in Saturday afternoon's MAC Commonwealth matchup with Stevenson in Alumni Gymnasium, but a big Mustang third-quarter charge ultimately downed the Knights at home, 68-52.
Taylor Dunn led the Knights with 14 points and four assists - her 13th-straight game scoring in double figures - while
Julia Makowski followed with 11 points and a pair of steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-After Stevenson jumped out to an early six-point lead to begin the game, the Knights battled back with a 9-2 run to take their first lead of the game at 9-8 as Makowski and Dunn combined for all nine points. The Mustangs finished the quarter on an 11-1 run to take a 21-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.
-The Knights erased the deficit and got within two of the Mustangs with a 10-3 run to begin the second quarter as Dunn and
Sydney Cyr each downed threes to get Arcadia back within reach of the lead. However, Arcadia was unable to retake the lead and settled for a four-point deficit at the half, trailing 31-27.
-Stevenson pulled away in the third quarter by outscoring the Knights 23-8 in the period and were unable to cut down the deficit in the fourth quarter, dropping the MAC Commonwealth contest, 68-52.

-Stevenson shot 41.8 percent (28-67) from the field while limiting the Knights to 28 percent (14-50).
-The Mustangs out-rebounded the Knights, 48-35.
-Arcadia had 19 points come off its bench, led by Sydney Barrer's seven.
