GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team is set to host the 2020 MAC Commonwealth Championship Game against fourth-seeded Lycoming Saturday night at 7 p.m. inside Alumni Gymnasium, as the Knights will go for their second-consecutive conference title and trip to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament. The 2020 MAC Commonwealth Championship marks the third in the last five years that the Knights have appeared in and hosted.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to Alumni Gymnasium, as gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. All spectators are asked to enter through the front entrance of the Kuch Center off of Lot 10, while the Arcadia student entrance will be located in The Commons/Chat area. Admission prices can be found below, and all Arcadia students, faculty & staff are granted free admission with a valid Knight Card ID.
Additionally, the Arcadia Alumni Association will be hosting a pre-game rally reception in the Hall of Fame Room located on the second level of the Kuch Center from 5-6:30 p.m. prior to tip-off. The event is open to parents and families of current players, as well as alumni and their families. Pre-registration and additional information can be found via the link below.
This game will be a White-Out in support of Arcadia men's basketball. All Arcadia fans that wear white will be entered into a raffle to win Amazon gift cards. There will be free pizza for Arcadia students starting at 5:30 p.m. Additionally, Arcadia students can grab free swag at the entrance.

-The Knights are making their third all-time appearance in the MAC Commonwealth Championship Game and second in as many seasons. The Knights captured thier first MAC Commonwealth title a season ago in a 92-56 victory over Widener, while Lycoming returns to the conference title game for the first time since winning back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017, with the 2016 title coming at Arcadia as the fifth-seed.
-Arcadia reached the title game with a 93-89 victory at second-seeded Albright in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals Wednesday night. The Knights were led by
Da'Kquan Davis' game-high 40 points and
Steve Pendleton's career-high 32 points, as Arcadia kept the Lions from hitting the game-winner on the final possession of regulation to force overtime before the duo took over late in OT to send them back to the championship game.
-Lycoming edged fifth-seeded Hood, 80-78, in Monday's 4/5 play-in game to reach the semifinals at top-seeded Widener Wednesday, where the Warriors overcame a 10-point, first-half deficit with the aid of eight second-half threes to stun the Pride, 90-77.
-Arcadia and Lycoming split the season series with both teams winning on the road. The Warriors hit a game-winning three as time expired in overtime to down the Knights on Jan. 18, before Arcadia exacted revenge on Feb. 8 in Williamsport with a 72-67 victory.
-The winner of Saturday's championship game receives the MAC Commonwealth's automatic bid into the 2020 NCAA Division III Tournament. The 2020 tournament field will be announced on March 2.

-Arcadia is making its second-consecutive MAC Commonwealth Championship Game appearance and third in the last five seasons. The Knights hold a 6-4 overall record in its ten conference tournament games, with a 1-1 mark in its two previous title game appearances. The Knights' lone loss came to a fifth-seeded Lycoming team in 2016.
-The Knights were one of two teams in the MAC Commonwealth to be ranked in the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings, coming in at eighth while Widener was slotted sixth.

Da'Kquan Davis and
Steve Pendleton were both named to All-MAC Commonwealth teams Thursday, as Davis claimed his second-consecutive First-team honor, while Pendleton was named to the Second-team. This marks the fifth time in the last six seasons Arcadia has landed at least two players on the MAC Commonwealth all-conference teams.
-Davis was a force in the MAC Commonwealth all season long, leading the league in scoring average at the conclusion of the regular season with 26.7 points per game. A 40-point performance in Wednesday night's MAC Commonwealth semifinal at Albright raised his scoring average to 27.2 PPG, ranking fifth in all of NCAA Division III. Davis scored in double-figures in all 26 games he played in, and posted eight games of at least 30 points.
-Davis also led the Commonwealth in minutes per game (37.1) and made free throws (201), while ranking in the top-five in both assists (5th, 93) and rebounds (T-3rd, 162) at the conclusion of the regular season.
-Pendleton also enjoyed a breakout season for the Knights, averaging a career-best 15.8 points per game along with a team-leading 37 steals. The senior finished the regular season with nine-straight games scoring in double-figures, highlighted by a career-high 27 at Albright on Jan. 29. Pendleton then bested that mark in the MAC Commonwealth semifinal at Albright Wednesday night with 32 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including a big three in final minute to clinch a spot in the conference title game.

-Lycoming enters Saturday's championship game aiming to claim its third title in the last five seasons with a pair of postseason victories under its belt on the week. This season marks the seventh time in the last ten years that the Warriors have appeared in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament.
-A defensive force this season, the Warriors currently lead the MAC Commonwealth in scoring defense (70.0), defensive field goal percentage (.409) and blocked shots per game (4.19).
-Dyson Harward and Darius Dangerfield lead the Warriors into Saturday's title game, as both were honored by the MAC on Thursday as All-Conference selections. Harward was named the MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year and a Second-team selection, while Dangerfield reigned in First-team All-MAC Commonwealth honors.
-Harward, who produced a program-record 64 blocks this season - was second in the conference in rebounds per game (8.0) and 13th in scoring average (13.2). Dangerfield ranks third in the MAC Commonwealth in assists per game (4.7), 9
