DALLAS, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team dropped a conference match to Misericordia, 3-0, on Tuesday night in Dallas.
The Knights played the first and third sets close with the Cougars, but in the end could not get extend the match to the later sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams played to a 10-all tie in the opening set, and the Knights won the next point to take an 11-10 lead. The Cougars then rattled off eight consecutive points to take an 18-11 lead. Arcadia did fight back to cut its deficit to 23-19, but Misericordia won the final two points of the set to take the opener, 25-19.
- The Knights opened the second set with a 7-4 lead. The Cougars then won 14 of the next 15 points to take a commanding 18-8 lead. Misericordia eventually took the second set, 25-15.
- Misericordia led the third set from start to finish. An early 5-0 run gave the Cougars a 9-3 lead. The Knights did make multiple runs to cut the deficit to three, but Misericordia held on to win the set 25-19 and the match, 3-0.
