GLENDISE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team dropped a five set match to Clarkson on Friday night in Alumni Gymnasium. The Knights took the first two sets of the match, but Clarkson fought back to win the final three sets to take the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The score in the first set was tied at 10, but Clarkson won three of the next four points to take a 13-11 lead halfway through the opening set. The Knights used a 4-0 run to take a 16-14 lead, but Clarkson won the next two points to tie the score at 16. Arcadia finished the set on a 9-4 run to win the opener, 25-20.
• Clarkson got out to an 8-2 advantage in the second set. Eight of the next nine points were won by Arcadia as it took a 10-9 lead. After Clarkson tied the set at 10, the Knights scored five consecutive points, giving them a 15-10 lead. Arcadia continued its strong play through the second half of the set, winning it, 25-16.
• Clarkson led the third set from start to finish, using multiple runs to lead it to a 25-15 set win.
• Arcadia led the fourth set, 6-5, but Clarkson took six of the next seven points, and never relinquished the lead. A 7-0 run from Clarkson extended its lead on the way to another 25-15 set win. 
• The fifth set was tightly contested until Clarkson won five of the final six points of the match, taking the fifth and final set, 15-9 to win the match.
