GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's soccer team defeated Wilkes, 2-1, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field. The Knights handed Wilkes its first conference loss of the season.
First year forward
Chris Fletcher found the back of the net less than a minute into the second overtime period to give the Knights the win. The game winner is Fletcher's first career goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia got on the board in the 12th minute as Steven Warren cleaned up a rebound in front of the goal to give the Knights the lead. The was Warren's second goal of the season.
- Wilkes tied the game at one in the 30th minute off a set piece as the Colonels sent a free kick into the box that took a bounce and was put in the back of the net at the back post.Â
- Both teams had chances to take the lead in the second half, but the game remained tied after 90 minutes.Â
- Warren had a chance to win the game in the first overtime, but the Wilkes goalkeeper made the save to send the game to another extra period.Â
- Fletcher ended the game 46 seconds into the second overtime. Daniel Tittelmayer had a shot saved, and Fletcher was there to clean up in front of the goal to give the Knights their second consecutive victory.
