Women's Basketball Stumbles in Second Half versus Wilkes

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team dropped a conference matchup versus Wilkes University, 70-55, on Saturday night. 

Holly Daveski had her best game of the season with 15 points and seven rebounds to pace the Knights offense. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After falling behind by eight points, the Knights put together a late first quarter surge to overtake the lead heading into the second stanza, 17-16. Olivia Wyckoff opened the 9-0 run with a pair of free throws, while Julia Makowski added a foul shot and consecutive three-pointers to cap off the rally. 

- Maria Tully put the Knights ahead by five points with 7:22 remaining in the second quarter. However, the Colonels ended the half on an 11-5 run to take a one-point advantage into halftime, 30-29.

- Wilkes outscored the Knights 20-10 in a pivotal third quarter. The Colonels ended the last six minutes of the stanza on a 13-4 run to take an 11-point lead into the fourth quarter, 50-39.  

- The Colonels maintained a double-digit lead through the entire fourth quarter. Wilkes outscored the Knights 20-16 to put away Arcadia.
