GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball program held visiting Keystone to just 19.7 percent shooting from the field in Wednesday night's 60-31 victory inside Alumni Gymnasium while
Julia Makowski and
Mara Weaver paced the offense by each scoring in double figures. Makowski scored a game-high 16 points and fell one rebound short of a double-double, while Weaver posted ten points and eight boards.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Scarlett Glasser-Nehls netted the Knights' first five points to open the game in what amounted to be a low-scoring first quarter. Arcadia limited the Giants to just four points while
Quinlyn Fisher added four points down the stretch to stake the Knights to a seven-point lead.
-Leading by eight around the halfway point of the second quarter,
Maria Tully sparked an 11-0 run to the end of the period to put the Knights up by 19 at the break. Tully scored five of the 11 points during that stretch to end the half on a high note.
-Weaver opened the second half with a pair of threes while Makowski pitched in seven points of her own in the quarter to extend the Knights' lead to 27 after three. Arcadia held the Giants to just eight points in the final quarter and cruised to a 29-point victory.
