CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia women's tennis team opened its 2021 season Saturday at DeSales, falling 8-1 to the Bulldogs. Tess Weber and Julia Paraboschi claimed the Knights' first match victory of the season with an 8-4 win at first doubles.

DOUBLES RESULTS
-Casey Boldt and Emily Cruz-Pineda dropped their second doubles matchup, 3-8.
-Tatum Marino and Keely Ochs fell in the duo's first match together, 1-8.

SINGLES RESULTS
-Weber fell at first singles, 2-6, 2-6.
-Boldt was also defeated 2-6, 2-6 at second singles.
-Cruz-Pineda was locked into a tightly-contested match at third singles, but fell in the tiebreak 6-2, 4-6, (0-1).
-Marino fell at fourth singles, 0-6, 6-2.
-Ochs made her collegiate debut at fifth singles, falling 3-6, 0-6.
-Veronika Knoll was defeated at sixth, 0-6, 0-6.

Arcadia (0-1) heads to Stevenson Saturday for a dual match.
