Baseball Captures Third-Straight Series Win, Sweeps FDU-Florham Double-Header at Home

AMBLER, Pa. – The Arcadia University baseball team captured its third-straight series victory with a double-header sweep over FDU-Florham University on Saturday afternoon. The Knights won the opener 10-3, while clinching the series victory with a 6-1 victory in the finale.

Trevor Mattson continued to see the ball well as the senior went a combined 3-for-4 with four runs, three extra base hits, three walks and one RBI. The Knights' slugger also ran the bases exceptionally well – tallying two stolen bases in the opener.

The Knights received quality innings from Hunter Bogumil and Hunter Curley, who combined for 10 innings with just one earned run on the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Justin Massielo then doubled down the left field line to plate two more runs in the inning, 4-3.
