Men’s Lacrosse Picks Up Road Victory at Lycoming, Four Post Hat Tricks

HOBOKEN, N.J. - The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team defeated Lycoming University, 17-9, on Saturday afternoon. Clo Muscara, Billy Burton, Justin Chinici and Brian Albertsen all collected hat tricks for the Knights.

Muscara led the scoring with a team-high four goals and six points. Burton, Chinici and Albertsen all scored three times for the Knights, while Albertsen added two assists for five points on the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights opened the game with three-consecutive tallies to capture early momentum. Billy Burton scored the team's first two goals with assists from Muscara and Albertsen, respectively. Albertsen then found the back of the net to cap off the team's 3-0 run. After a Warriors goal brought the team within two scores, Joe Pedisich and Albertsen ended the quarter with scores to pull ahead by four goals, 5-1. 

- Chinici built upon the Knights early success with two goals, which were 80-seconds apart from each other, to open the second quarter. Muscara then found the back of the net with 11:14 remaining to expand the Knights advantage to seven goals. The Warriors ended the half with consecutive scores to head into halftime trailing the Knights 8-3.

- The Knights outscored Lycoming 5-3 in the third quarter to expand their advantage, 13-6. Burton, Muscara and Albertsen added their third goals to complete the hat trick, while Sean Connolly added his first of the game. 

- Muscara opened the final stanza with his fourth goal of the game. Connolly and Sporer added tallies as well, while Chinici collected his first career hat trick with a goal in the fourth quarter. The Knights won the final stanza 4-3 on the road to a commanding 17-9 win.
