HOW IT HAPPENED

- Delaware Valley tallied three unearned runs in the first inning to jump out to an early advantage. However, the Knights responded with three of their own in the bottom half of the inning. Connor Cheeseman plated one run with a double down the left field line, while Kumar grounded out to third to score another run. Cheeseman later came home to score on a wild pitch, 3-3.

- The Aggies added a pair of runs with RBI singles in the third and fourth innings, respectively, to pull ahead by two runs, 5-3. The Knights then escaped a fifth inning jam when Nick Bon Tempo fired a strike to the pitcher Colin Bowdish at home plate to nail an Aggie baserunner attempting to score a wild pitch.

- The Knights headed into the seventh inning trailing by three runs after the Aggies added one more in the sixth. The Knights loaded the bases with one out and plated two runs with a hit batter and a walk. Arcadia had an opportunity to take the lead with bases loaded and two outs, but couldn't capitalize.
