ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team fell to Eastern University, 20-11, in its regular season finale on Tuesday afternoon.
Joe Pedisich tallied his first hat trick of the season, while
Billy Burton,
Brady Manion and
Bailey Lanzi added two goals for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eastern tallied the game's first four goals before Manion found the back of the net for the team's first tally. After Pedisich scored the Knights second goal, he and Manion added two more quick tallies to end the quarter trailing by three goals, 7-4.
- The Eagles controlled the second quarter, while outscoring the Knights 8-1.
Alex Herka provided the Knights lone tally off an assist from
JP Shaaber with 4:58 left. Eastern headed into the half with a 15-5 advantage.
- After the Eagles scored the first three goals of the second half, the Knights tallied consecutive goals to end the quarter. Pedisich netted the first goal to complete the hat trick, while Lanzi scored the second goal with 15-seconds remaining, 18-7.
- The Knights held a 4-2 advantage in the fourth quarter. The squad opened the stanza with three consecutive goals from
Justin Chinici, Lanzi and
Billy Burton to shrink its deficit. Burton added another tally with 2:25 remaining in the game.
