Women’s Lacrosse Falls at Albright

READING, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team fell to Albright College, 12-7, on Saturday afternoon. Sarah Morris and Skylar Acker led the Knights with two goals, while Emily Griffith made a season-high 16 saves.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hannah McAllister opened the scoring for Arcadia with a free position goal to shrink the Knights deficit to one goal, 2-1. The junior leads the squad with eight goals on the season.
 
- After Albright responded with another goal, Morris netted her first of the game with 6:10 remaining in the half. Griffith ended the half with seven saves, while the Knights went into intermission trailing by two scores, 4-2.
 
- The Lions opened the second half with consecutive scores until Maddie Ruger found the back of the net to stop Albright's run, 6-3.
 
- Later in the half, Giovanna Raspanti and Morris tallied back-to-back goals within minutes of each other to pull within two scores, 8-6, with 10:48 left. However, the Lions quickly answered with consecutive goals en route to securing the 12-7 victory.
