GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's soccer team fell to Haverford, 2-1, in overtime on Wednesday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.
The Knights got out to a 1-0 lead in the 48th minute, but the Fords scored two straight goals to take the win. Graduate student Duncan O'Connor scored his first goal of the season for the lone Arcadia tally. Senior goalkeeper Jake Varrato made two saves on the afternoon for the Knights.

The Knights and Fords played an even first half and the teams went into the break deadlocked at zero.

Arcadia started the second half on the front foot and got an early goal through O'Connor in the 48th minute. Ken Marshman played a ball across the six-yard box to a wide-open O'Connor who scored to give the Knights the lead.

Haverford tied the game at one in the 72nd minute through a shot from the edge of the box.

Regulation ended with the score tied at one, but the Fords scored just under two minutes into overtime to win the match.
