GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team ran its current win streak to seven Saturday with a tri-match sweep of host Gwynedd Mercy and Notre Dame of Maryland. All seven of the Knights' wins over their current streak have come in straight sets.
Michelle Frank logged a team-best 16 kills over the two matches while also posting six assists in the victory over Notre Dame.
Nicole Dallara added 14 kills of her own while Estefania Martinez-Sola assisted on 50 Knights points on the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights got off to a fast start by taking eight of the first nine points in the opening set including five-straight to begin the match.
Michelle Frank posted three kills over that stretch, before an 11-1 run put the Knights in total control with a 20-4 lead.
Danielle Doyle logged three kills while
Katie Paoli added a pair of service aces during the run before Arcadia went on to take the first set, 25-13.
-The second set mirrored the first as the Knights again raced out to a sizable lead early. An early 7-0 run highlighted by three Martinez-Sola aces gave Arcadia a good six-point lead while Frank totaled five kills over the course of the second set to keep the Knights out in front by a wide margin.
Haylee Harper provided two kills in the final five points to seal the 25-14 victory.
-The Knights found themselves in unfamiliar territory in third set, trailing the Griffins 9-6 early on, but a 9-1 run erased any doubts as the Knights got back in control with an 18-13 lead. Arcadia never looked back the rest of the way en route to the three-set victory, as

-The Knights carried the momentum into the second match of the day in a big way, earning money 17 of the set's first 20 points in dominant fashion. Arcadia took advantage of several Notre Dame errors and benefited from four Frank aces along the way. The Knights won the final four points of the set - capped off by a
Danielle Doyle kill - to take the opener 25-7.
-Arcadia continued to dominate the match by opening the second set with a 10-2 lead.
Haylee Harper and
Katie Paoli each posted a pair of kills in the set to lead the Knights to a 25-16 victory.
-The Knights opened up an early nine-point lead in the third set thanks to a fast 7-0 run featuring an ace and kill from Martinez-Sola. Notre Dame battled back to cut the deficit to four, but three Paoli kills down the stretch brought the Knights back into their rhythm en route to the tri-match sweep with a match-clinching, 25-16 victory in the third set.
