ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Arcadia University softball team was selected second in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom preseason coaches' poll, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Jan. 24.

The Knights received 56 total points and two first place votes. Arcadia was just three total points behind first place Stevens, who garnered 59 total points.
The 2022 MAC Freedom Softball Championship is set for May 5-7. The top-five seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
Arcadia opens its season on Friday, Feb. 25 in Cary, N.C. at the Triangle Softball Classic. The Knights will take on Pfeiffer University in their season opener with first pitch scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday.
