WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team earned its sixth win in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play with a straight sets victory over King's on Tuesday night.
The Knights improved to 17-7 overall and 6-1 in MAC Freedom action.
Estefania Martinez-Sola tallied a double-double in the win with 12 kills and 12 assists. Danielle Doyle also recorded a double-digit kill total with 11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Arcadia 25, King's 18: The set was tightly contested in the opening stages until the Knights took five of six points to open up a 17-11 lead. King's answered back with a 5-0 run to cut its deficit to one point, 17-16. Arcadia closed the set on an 8-2 run to take the opening frame.
Set 2: Arcadia 25, King's 13: The Knights got out to an early 11-3 lead. They used multiple runs in the middle and closing stages of the set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
Set 3: Arcadia 25, King's 15: With the set tied at 10, Arcadia went on a 10-1 run to take a 20-11 lead. The teams traded points through the final points of the set as the Knights earned the sweep over King's.
