BALTIMORE, Md. - Hanna Rhoades poured in a game-high 20 points to lift the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 67-52 win over Mount Aloysius College in the first round of the Renie Amos Tip-Off hosted by Goucher College on Friday evening.
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls and
Mara Weaver also finished in double-figures for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia began the game on a 7-2 run over the first two-plus minutes.
-Mount Aloysius was able to close the gap as the first quarter ended with a 16-14 Knights advantage.
-Trailing 23-22 with 3:08 left in the first half, Arcadia finished on a 7-2 run, taking a 29-25 lead into halftime.
-The Knights began the second half on a 6-0 run to go up 35-25 with 7:33 on the clock.
-In all, Arcadia started the third quarter outscoring the Mounties 17-4, holding a 46-32 advantage after 30 minutes of play.
-The Knights cruised to the victory with 21 points in the final quarter.
