GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team opened Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play with 73-21 victory over FDU-Florham inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening. Tonight's 52-point margin of victory is the largest since the Knights defeated Alvernia University by a 63-19 final in January 2018.
Abby Beam led the way with nine points while
Mara Weaver and
Sophia Hathaway added eight points each.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia began the game on a 14-0 run and ended the first quarter with a 21-4 advantage.
- A 14-1 run to begin the second contributed to a 40-7 lead heading into halftime.
- The Knights outscored the Devils 33-14 in the second half to cruise to the victory.
