GLENSIDE - The trio of Hanna Rhoades, Mara Weaver, and Abby Beam combined for 51 of the teams 58 points as the Arcadia University women's basketball team opened its 2022-23 season with a 58-47 win over Neumann University on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Trailing 11-4 six minutes into the first quarter, Arcadia used an 8-2 to end the first 10 minutes trailing 13-12.

-A 13-2 second quarter lifted Arcadia to a 25-15 halftime lead. The Knights defense held Neumann to a 1-10 showing in the second quarter.

-Neumann got the lead down to four at 28-24 with 6:35 left in the third, but a 24-9 run into the first minute of the fourth quarter lifted Arcadia to its largest lead of the game at 52-33, allowing the Knights to closeout the victory.

-Arcadia turned 16 Neumann turnovers into 19 points while only committing nine turnovers.

-After shooting 25 percent (5-20) from three in the first half, the Knights hit 44 percent (7-16) from deep in the second half.
