ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team fell in its season opener to Elizabethtown, 18-11, on Wednesday afternoon.
Three Knights recorded a multi-goal game as Brian Albertsen and James Baretta tallied three goals and Sean Connolly found the back of the net twice. Albertsen added an assist to lead Arcadia with four points. Goalie Timmy Fyock made 22 saves in the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Albertsen opened the scoring to give the Knights a 1-0 lead. The next three goals were scored by Elizabethtown, but Arcadia scored two straight to tie the game at three. The Blue Jays scored three of the final four goals of the first quarter to take a 6-4 lead at the end of the frame.

Elizabethtown scored the first six goals of the second quarter. Albertson scored a man up goal to end the run and cut the Blue Jays lead to 12-5.

The Blue Jays outscored the Knights 4-3 in the third quarter, but Arcadia used an extended 4-0 run between the third and fourth quarters to outscore Elizabethtown in the fourth quarter, 3-2.
