HOBOKEN, N.J. - The No. 2 Arcadia University softball team fell to fourth-seeded Stevens, 7-3, on Sunday afternoon in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship.
The Knights fell to 30-9 on the season. Arcadia now awaits its NCAA Tournament fate with the selection show scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on NCAA.com.
Megan Sooy led the Knights with two RBI's and Megan Klose added another for Arcadia.
Juliana Presto toed the rubber for the Knights, pitching seven innings, allowing seven runs on nine hits and four walks. She struck out five in the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Megan Sooy gave the Knights a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning with her 11th home run of the season.

Stevens took the lead with a three-run homer in the top of the third.

The Ducks plated four more runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 7-2 lead.

Megan Klose brought home a run with a walk in the top of the seventh, but Arcadia fell 7-3.
