"I want to thank Executive Director of Athletics and Recreation
Brian Granata, Associate Director of Athletics
Erin Livingston, as well as the rest of the search committee for this incredible opportunity," Mayer explained. "I am truly grateful, and am beyond excited to be leading the Arcadia softball team."

Mayer helped coach the Patriot League Preseason Pitcher of the Year, Three All-Patriot League selections, one CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, and two Academic All-Patriot selections.
"We are thrilled to welcome Coach Mayer into the Arcadia Athletics community," Granata said. "Throughout the interview process, she expressed a clear passion for the sport and in making positive impacts on the lives of student-athletes. We are confident that Coach Mayer will help the program build upon the tremendous success that former head coach Sarah Colletti brought to the program in recent years."
Prior to her time at College of the Holy Cross, Mayer spent three seasons as an assistant at Hofstra University, where she coached the pitchers. While with the Pride, Mayer coached four NFCA All-Region players, nine All-Colonial Athletic Association selections, one Co-Rookie of the Year, and one Defensive Player of the Year. "After being on campus, it is evident that everyone in the athletic department is passionate about continuing to build a winning culture, inspiring growth in each student-athlete, as well as ensuring the success of all student-athletes both on and off the field," Mayer said. "I cannot wait for this next chapter to begin."
Mayer graduated from Fordham in 2017 with a degree in Communications and Media Studies & Marketing.
