NEWARK, N.J. - Caroline Weirich deposited two goals to lead the Arcadia University women's soccer team to its first win of 2022, a 4-1 win over Rutgers-Newark on Saturday afternoon. Weirich was joined in the scoring column by
Taylor Gubler and
Amanda Thaler, backing a combined seven saves from
Abby Fuchs and
Amelia Orr.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gubler opened the scoring in the fourth minute with an unassisted tally.
- Weirich doubled the lead in the 30th minute with an assist from
Rachael Mahlau-Heinert.
- Thaler opened the second half with an unassisted goal in the 49th minute.
-Weirich finished the scoring for the Knights in the 56th minute.
