GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team was defeated 49-41 by Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium.
Hanna Rhoades led the Knights with 12 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Misericordia scored the first five points of the game before a 6-0 run put Arcadia on top with 3:16 left in the first quarter as the Knights held a 12-9 lead after 10 minutes.
-Arcadia was outscored 10-3 in the second quarter, trailing 19-15 at halftime.
-The Knights cut the deficit to 33-30 30 seconds into the fourth after a three-point play from
Abby Beam, but Arcadia was unable to trim the deficit any closer.
