LANCASTER, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team split in its action at the Lancaster Bible tri-match, downing Penn College in three sets, and falling to the hosts in five sets.
Alysa Dennison led all players with 11 kills in the Knights win over Penn College. She then led the Knights in kills against Lancaster Bible with 13.
Nicole Dallara had a double-double in the match against Lancaster Bible with 10 kills and 21 digs. Estefania Martinez-Sola also had a double-double in the match with 26 assists and 16 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Arcadia 25, Penn College 6:
The Knights opened the match on a 13-1 run and closed the set on a 10-1 run to cruise to a win in the opening frame.
Set 2: Arcadia 25, Penn College 18:
Penn College bounced back, opening the second set on an 8-3 run. The Knights fought back to cut their deficit to one at 15-14 and went on to take a 19-16 lead through a 5-1 run. Arcadia took the final five points of the set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
Set 3: Arcadia 25, Penn College 18:
Arcadia got out to a 20-7 lead, but the Wildcats eventually cut the Knights lead to 21-17. Arcadia stopped the Penn College run and won four of the final five points of the set to win the match in straight sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Arcadia 25, Lancaster Bible 16:
The Knights began the set on a 10-5 run. They continued their strong play in the set, extending their lead to 21-11, and went on to win the set to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Set 2: Lancaster Bible 25, Arcadia 19:
Arcadia won the first five points of the set, but the Chargers used a 5-0 run of their own to take a 12-9 lead. Lancaster Bible never trailed in the set after taking the lead to tie the match at one.
Set 3: Arcadia 25, Lancaster Bible 22:
The teams traded the lead throughout most of the set, which led to the frame being tied at 20. After Lancaster Bible took a 21-20 lead, the Knights won five of the final six points to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
Set 4: Lancaster Bible 25, Arcadia 22:
A tightly contested beginning ended with an 8-1 run by Lancaster Bible, giving it a 19-13 lead. The Knights battled back to cut their deficit to two at both 22-20 and 24-22, but the Chargers took the final points of the frame to send the match to a fifth set.
Set 5: Lancaster Bible 15, Arcadia 10:
The deciding frame was tied at eight, but Lancaster Bible closed on a 7-2 run to win the set and the match.
