CAMDEN, N.J. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team opened the 2023-24 season with a 79-43 victory at Rutgers-Camden in non-conference play on Saturday afternoon.
Delaney Bell finished with a team-high 21 points and game-high nine rebounds for the Knights.

-Arcadia improved to 1-0

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights trailed 6-4 with 6:45 left in the first quarter.
-A 15-2 run put Arcadia ahead 19-8 as the first ended with the Knights holding a 21-11 advantage.
-The Scarlet Raptors began the second quarter on a 5-0 run to make the lead 21-16 with just over three minutes elapsed.
-Arcadia finished the half on a 17-3 run, leading 38-19 going into halftime.
-The Knights cruised in the second half en route to the win.

-The Knights shot 52 percent (28-54) from the field.
-Arcadia won the rebound battle 43-27.
The Knights got 27 points from the bench compared to one for Rutgers-Camden.
-Arcadia turned 24 Scarlet Raptor turnovers into 26 points.
-The Knights held Rutgers-Camden to 26 percent (14-54) from the field.
NOTES
-Bell notched her eighth career double-double.
-Rodriguez matched the second-highest single-game block total in program history.
