Four in Double-Figures Lead Women's Basketball Over John Jay

GLENSIDE - Hanna Rhoades (23 points), Delaney Bell (19), Abby Beam (13), and Scarlett Glasser-Nehls (11) finished in double-figures as the Arcadia University women's basketball team defeated John Jay by a 76-55 final in non-conference play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 4-0 for the first time since the 2020-21 season while John Jay fell to 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia raced out to a 5-0 lead through the first minute with a Rhoades three and a Bell jumper.

-After two Bell free throws and another Rhoades three, the Knights held a 10-2 lead with 7:31 on the clock.

-Arcadia held a 23-13 lead through the first ten minutes.

-The Knights maintained their lead through the second quarter, holding a 33-24 advantage going into halftime.

-John Jay began the second half on an 8-0 run, cutting the lead to 33-32 with 6:48 on the clock, forcing Arcadia into a timeout.

-The Knights came out of the timeout on a 10-0 run with points from Bell, Katie Rodriguez, Rhoades, and Mara Weaver.

-Arcadia led 49-36 after three.

-The Knights opened the fourth on an 11-0 run to reach their biggest lead at 60-36 with 7:32 left in the game.
