AMBLER, Pa. - The No. 11 Arcadia University baseball team opened the 2023 season with a 14-4 win over Ursinus College in non-conference play at Skip Wilson Field on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights opened the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the second on back-to-back RBI singles from
Alex Madera and
Emilio Pallante.
-Arcadia tacked on four runs in the third, one each in the fifth and sixth, two in the seventh, and four in the eighth.
-Ursinus tacked on one run in the sixth and eighth, and two in the ninth.
-
Hunter Curley earned the win with five scoreless innings, striking out seven and walking three while allowing three hits.
