PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – The Arcadia University baseball team fell in its series finale with Stevens, 5-4, on Sunday afternoon.
Justin Massielo had a team-high three hits and two runs scored in the loss.
Zach Steiger got the start on the mound for the Knights and three seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, while striking out six.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stevens pushed a run across in the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead.
- The Knights tied the game at one in the fourth as Ryan Smolen scored on a Noah Stennett RBI groundout.
- Stevens scored twice in the fifth inning to retake the lead, 3-1.
- Smolen got the Knights within one, 3-2 in the sixth inning with an RBI single.
- Anthony Bruno tied the game in the ninth with an RBI single. Massielo then gave the Knights a 4-3 lead as he advanced two bases to score on a wild pitch.
- Stevens hit a walk-off, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to win the game, 5-4.
