DALLAS, Pa. - Juliana Presto's 13 strikeouts coupled with
Zoey Ritter's pressure on the defense helped the Arcadia University softball team to a split at Misericordia University, taking game one of the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) series 3-0 before falling in game two 7-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 3, MISERICORDIA 0
-Ritter reached on a two-out error in the top of the second that brought home Presto and
Effie Jamanis.
-Ritter brought home Jamanis on a groundout in the seventh to finish the scoring.
-Presto won the battle of the two First Team All-MAC Freedom selections from a year ago, allowing no runs on two hits with four walks and 13 strikeouts.
