MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The No. 11/16 Arcadia University baseball team fell by a 14-8 final in game one of its non-conference doubleheader at Penn State Harrisburg before game two was halted in the eighth with the Knights trailing 13-6.
Emilio Pallante had two hits while
Michael Bukowski had one in game one.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-PSU Harrisburg jumped out to a 7-0 lead through two innings.
-
Alex Madera brought Pallante home on a groundout to get Arcadia on the board in the third.
-Bukowski got the Knights' second run when a double steal and a throwing error allowed him to come home.
-With Arcadia trailing 13-2 in the sixth
Griffin Murphy walked with the bases loaded scoring Bukowski.
-Pallante followed Murphy with a fielder's choice scoring
Matt Donchez.
-Madera then lined out to centerfield, bringing home
Joseph Kumar.

Thomas Strauch reached on a fielder's choice and error that allowed Pallante to score, making the count 13-6.
-Pallante hit a two-run homer in the eighth to finish the scoring.

Hunter Sibley fell to 0-1 with the defeat.
