AMBLER, Pa. – The Arcadia University baseball team topped Elizabethtown, 8-7, on Tuesday afternoon at Skip Wilson Field.
The Knights improved their record to 21-7 with the victory.
Anthony Bruno led the Knigths at the plate with three hits and two RBI's, including driving in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Drew Pecorilli earned his first career win on the mound for the Knights as he pitched the final 1.2 innings.
Nadell Booker got the start and tossed three scoreless innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights opened the scoring in the bottom of the third with four runs. Nick Bon Tempo, Alex Madera, Emilio Pallante and Matt Donchez all came home to give Arcadia the lead.
- Elizabethtown got a run back in the top of the fourth to cut its deficit to 4-1.
- The Blue Jays loaded the bases in the fifth inning and scored two more runs to close their deficit to 4-3.
- Arcadia extended its lead to two in the home half of the fifth inning through a Ryan Smolen RBI single.
- Elizabethtown scored for the third consecutive frame in the top half of the sixth inning to once again get within a run.
- After loading the bases in the home half of the sixth, the Knights plated two runs to extend their lead to 7-4.
- The Blue Jays once again plated runs as they cut their deficit to 7-6 in the top of the seventh.
- Elizabethtown tied the game in the top of the eighth, but Bruno broke the tie in the home half of the inning to give the Knights an 8-7 lead.
- Pecorilli threw a one, two, three ninth inning to earn Arcadia the win.
