MADISON, N.J. - The Arcadia University softball team was defeated in game one of its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader at FDU-Florham by a 4-2 final before game two was halted in the top of the fifth.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: FDU-FLORHAM 4, ARCADIA 2
-FDU-Florham took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
-The Knights cut the deficit to 2-1 in the second.
-The Devils extended their lead to 4-1 with solo home runs in the fourth.
-
Megan Sooy hit a solo home run in the seventh but Arcadia was unable to close the gap.
-
Juliana Presto allowed four runs on six hits in six innings with one walk and nine strikeouts.
