GLENSIDE - Juliana Presto's three-run triple in the bottom of the fifth and three innings to earn the win helped the Arcadia University softball team to a 6-4 win in game two over DeSales University after falling in game on 3-0 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME TWO: ARCADIA 6, DESALES 4
-DeSales opened the scoring in the top of the fourth with a solo home run.
-
Megan Sooy tied the score in the bottom of the frame with a solo shot of her own.
-Presto gave the Knights the lead later in the inning with an RBI single before
Megan Klose knocked an RBI single to center giving Arcadia a 3-1 lead.
-The Bulldogs tied the score in the fifth with three runs.
-Presto slammed a three-run triple to right to give the Knights a 6-3 lead in the bottom of the fifth.
-DeSales scored one run in the sixth but was unable to get any closer.
-Presto pitched the final three innings, allowing one run on three hits with two walks and three strikeouts. Presto entered the game with no outs and the bases loaded in the fifth and escaped with allowing any inherited runners to score.

Paige Nolan tossed the first four innings, allowing one run on five hits with one walk.
