GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University softball team split its senior day doubleheader with Stevens Institute of Technology on Sunday, taking game one 5-4 before falling in game two 6-5 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 5, STEVENS 4

Megan Sooy got the Knights on the board in the first with a solo homer to left.
-Stevens scored two runs in the fourth to take the lead.
-Arcadia grabbed a 4-2 lead in the sixth when
Madi Costigan scored on a passed ball, followed by a single to center from
Allison LaRochelle scoring
Grace Caldwell and a
Devon Fithian single right bringing home LaRochelle.
-After the Ducks tied the score in the top of the seventh. Sooy brought home
Angel Schaefer with the walk-off winning run.

Juliana Presto earned her 12th win, allowing four runs (one earned) on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts.

Haley Buckley plus a bases-loaded walk by

-Costigan scored on an error in the fifth before Presto brought home Sooy with a single to give the Knights a 5-0 lead.Â
-Stevens scored six unanswered runs in the sixth and seventh to take the win.
